About Us
The Man-e Moreno Foundation was started when the world lost a very special young man Manuel Joseph Moreno. From a terrible tragedy our foundation has turned our circumstance into a triumph. In collaboration with our community leaders, the 212 CENTER is committed to impact the youth of today and tomorrow. Through our events we address the total young person. Physical, mental and academic. Serving together we can see the results in the families, schools and the playing field. The leaders of tomorrow are being trained today at the 212 CENTER.
Focusing on the youth in our communities, we will replace boredom with positive entertainment, frustration with understanding, loneliness with friendship, and goals for the wondering. By providing positive mentors for the lost and struggling youth, we will continue to step forward and help others become victorious in their fight for happiness. No longer will our tears we have shed be tears of sadness, but rather become tears of gladness. Hand and hand we will make a difference in our communities.
The 212 CENTER staff is fueled by a vision to see every young athlete student reach his/her full potential in the area of character, mental fitness and physical agility. Steps that are taken while at the 212 CENTER are just the beginning to start their path way to successfully function with high standards in physical fitness and academic learning.
